Over 75 people were in attendance as Ancilla College hosted New Student Orientation on Tuesday, June 8.

Students and parents from throughout the local community were able to learn about student activities and athletics, register for classes, and receive new student identification cards and parking passes.  All in attendance were also treated to a free lunch as provided by the Office of Admissions.

Guest speakers during the event included Dr. Ronald May (Ancilla College President), Sr. Carleen Wrasman, PHJC (Coordinator of Mission Integration and Campus Ministry), Marcella Hopple (Assistant Director of Financial Aid), Erin Alonzo (Director of Admissions), and Dianna Cooper (Athletic Secretary and Cheer Coach).

“We were pleased with the turnout for both events,” said Sarah Lawrence, Assistant Director of Admissions.  “It was a great way for students to spend some time on campus and get everything completed before the start of classes.”

Ancilla College will hold their next Placement Party – where students can take the college placement test – on July 7.  The next New Student Orientation will be held on August 11 and will also include a Placement Party.  All offices will be open that day, and registration will be open to all students.

Those wishing to schedule for either event or for an individual appointment and tour are encouraged to contact the Office of Admissions at (574) 936-8898 Ext. 330.

Ancilla College is a Catholic, two-year, co-educational, liberal arts college in Donaldson, Indiana sponsored by the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ.
