The Biker Church of the Heartland is sponsoring its 3rd annual “Miracle Ride” on Saturday, August 28th, to raise funds for two families this year.  The two families selected to benefit are both worthy of financial support.  One has a young child who had spinal surgery at Peyton Manning’s Children’s Hospital to correct a congenital spinal deformation which has left him paralyzed.  The second family lost their young mother to cancer, leaving three girls, ages two, nine and twelve.  They need assistance with medical and funeral expenses.

The ride departs from Church of the Heartland at 705 East Jefferson Street in Plymouth with kickstands up at 10:00 A.M.

There is a complete breakfast of biscuits, gravy, sausages, bacon, pancakes and coffee served prior to the event. Donations will be accepted for the meals.  The “Miracle Ride” winds through two counties around Bass Lake and ends at the Starke County Heartland campus.  The day’s events will also include music, bike games, door prizes, some skeet shooting with guns and clays being provided with a fundraising cost of $5.00 for 5 shots.  Motorcycle riders will also enjoy a hog roast.

Cost for the “Miracle Ride” is $20 for drivers and $10 for passengers. Even if you don’t ride, you are welcome to stop by for breakfast and make a donation to the “Miracle Ride.”
