The 2010 Bremen Firemen’s Festival kickoff Tuesday evening with the annual parade beginning at 6:30 p.m. Thousands will line the streets from Bremen High School to Sunny Side Park. The parade is a favorite of kids with lots of candy being thrown from the floats and fire trucks. This parade features several high school bands, baton twirlers, old cars and tractors, and of course, fire trucks!
Luehr’s Ideal Rides provides a fantastic carnival for everyone. You’ll find all the fun and excitement younger children as well as teen can handle. The midway opens at 6 p.m. with rides, games and great food. The carnival opens each night Tuesday through Friday at 6. Saturday at 1 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.
You’ll also find your favorite dinner choices at the Bremen Firemen’s Food tend which opens at 6 p.m.
Wednesday at the Bremen Firemen’s Festival is two for one night. Two people ride for the price of one. Thursday night you can ride as often as you like and there is a tractor pull beginning at 3 p.m. Friday is pay one price night for the carnival rides at the fair.
Activities heat up Saturday with the Bremen Firemen’s Waterball contest at 10 a.m. The Corn Hole Tournament starts at 5 p.m. and it’s bargain day at the Carnival where all rides take one ticket. The Bremen Missionary Church will have a Fish Fry from 11 to 7.
Sunday the Fourth of July the Carnival opens at 2 p.m. along with the Bremen Firemen’s Food tens. At 8 p.m. they’ll hold the raffle drawing and the events wrap up at 10:30 with the GIGANTIC FIREWORKS display.
