During the month of June Fernbaugh’s Diamonds and Fine Jewelry are working in conjunction with Care and Share to raise money for the organization by “Turning Gold into Caring and Sharing.”
On Saturday, June 19th people are especially encouraged to bring their broken gold jewelry, gold teeth, or other gold items to Fernbaugh’s. Care and Share will receive a donation for the values of the items brought in. The donor will receive a receipt of having made a tax deductible donation.
Secretary of the Care and Share Board of Directors, Jim Griffy said, “It is surprising how much money a small amount of gold will bring. A small bag can be worth close to $1,000.”
Donations will be accepted through the month of June for Care and Share. In addition to gold items they will also take ones made of silver.
