12/30/10 On Tuesday, December 28th at approximately 7:55 AM County Officer Les McFarland, while on routine patrol stopped a 1996 Ford Crown Victory in the area of US 6 and US 31. During the traffic stop it was discovered that the driver had a suspended driver’s license on a learner’s permit. The Officer detected an odor of burnt marijuana and was advised by the driver that he and the passenger had been smoking marijuana. The driver 31 year old Richard Wells of Fort Wayne along with the passenger 19 year old Cammeal Harding of Fort Wayne were arrested for possession of marijuana under 30 grams. Both subjects were transported to the Marshall County Jail and held with bonds set at $1,000 each.
