10/28/10 Hensler Nursery in Hamlet will be hosting the “Giant Pumpkin Drop” this Saturday October 30th between 9:00 – 10:00 am C.T. There will be two 1000 pumpkins dropped.  One pumpkin will be dropped on a pink bulls eye to “Smash out Cancer”. The second pumpkin will be dropped on a car to raise money for the Community Services of Starke County Food Pantry. People are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item or give a monetary donation to the food pantry and sign their name on the pumpkin before it is dropped from a crane.

 Horse-drawn rides will be available from 12:00-2:00 and all proceeds from the rides will be donated to the Marshall County and Starke County Cancer Associations.  There will be breakfast items available at the fall barn.
