11/08/10 This weekend shoppers were able to meet the new Sears store owners David Miller, the VanVactor Family, and new Store Manager Chip Mann during the Grand Re-Opening Event.

Sears is the only place in town where you can find an incredible selection of the top appliance brands, like Kenmore, Maytag and KitchenAid.  PLUS a large assortment of lawn and garden equipment, Craftsman tools, home electronics, mattresses and fitness equipment!

Visit your Plymouth Sears, located at US 30 & Pine/Pioneer Drive…next to the License Branch… where you’ll find the brands you want with the guarantees, credit and service you need.

Saturday afternoon Mayor Mark Senter stopped by the store for an official ribbon cutting ceremony.  Senter was joined by Patty VanVactor Wright, Steve VanVactor, Dave VanVactor, Chip Mann Store Manager, Mayor Senter, Dave Miller, and Jeff Win the District Manager.  Mayor Senter used a pair of Craftsman Shears to cut the ribbon.

Miller said the morning had been very busy and at one time they had four customers deep at both cash registers.  He also noted that Mann is currently the store manager and will be transitioning to owner during the next few months.

Chip Mann said, “With the first snow of the season, we had some people in looking at snow throwers and blowers.”
