09/29/10 The Indiana Chamber of Commerce today announced its endorsement of Jackie Walorski for the 2nd District Congressional seat. The Indiana Chamber is the state’s leading small business organization representing nearly 5,000 member companies and over 800,000 Hoosier workers.

“From South Bend to Kokomo, it’s no secret what issue is foremost in the minds of Hoosiers – it’s jobs,” said Walorski. “Small businesses around the state are saying they are tired of the heavy-handed regulations coming out of Washington, they are tired of the job-killing agenda of this Congress, and they are tired of the environment of economic uncertainty. Employers and workers in the 2nd District are looking to send someone to Washington that they can trust to fight for them.”

“As a State Representative, I have fought to keep government spending in check, to keep taxes low, and to help create an environment where businesses can grow,” said Walorski. “I am honored to have the endorsement of the Indiana Chamber and I look forward to going to Washington and getting Hoosiers back to work.”
