The Plymouth LadyPilgrims started strong, finished stronger in a 42-19 win over the Peru Lady Tigers at the Den.

“It was a well played game defensively as it was offensively for our girls.”, said Head Coach Dave Cox.  “Megan Barron has picked up where she left off from last year, just getting in the mix of things.  She was aggressive going after the ball.  When you have your Senior set the tone like she did, your pleased as a coach.”, he shadded.

Plymouth got to the free throw line 17 times, hitting 14.

“Our defense allowed only one Peru point in the 3rd quarter.  We really forced Peru defensively, and as a result we caused 24 Lady Tiger turnovers scoring 20 points off of them.”, said Cox.

Plymouth sophomore, Amber Redninger, was leading scorer with 12 pts.   Megan Barron had 10 pts and 3 assists and 3 steals.  Next Plymouth Girls game is Tuesday against Bremen.

WTCA Pre-Game will be appx. 7:00pm.
