Internship opportunities are coming to the Marshall County Community Foundation (MCCF). Beginning in the 2011 spring semester, the foundation will employ up to two (2) students each term through the summer of 2012. Full- or part-time undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in accredited two- or four-year Indiana colleges and universities are eligible to apply.
These internships are intended to provide real-life work experience for students wishing to advance their educational and personal development. The placements will introduce those selected to the roles community foundations and philanthropy play in our community’s quality of life. Interns will work with existing staff and contribute directly to the overall implementation of MCCF’s long range goals of strategic resource development.
Funded by a Lilly Endowment Inc. grant, these positions are offered as part of the Community Foundation Internships (CFI) program, which will be administered through the GIFT (Giving Indiana Funds for Tomorrow) program at the Indiana Grantmakers Alliance. CFI will further the Lilly Endowment’s efforts to build healthy community foundations and provide high-quality internship opportunities in Indiana.
