10/18/10 The Marshall County Neighborhood Center welcomed three new board members on October 14 during their annual reorganization meeting. Joining the board were Pat Langfelt, Tammy Robertson, and Carol Brown. Consideration was also given adding two more members in November.
Newly appointed board officers include: Chad Barden, president; Michael Dunn, vice-president; Geoff Payne, treasurer; and Drew Hettich, secretary.
The board thanked outgoing President Karen Barden, and Vice-President Jenny Sheedy for their roles in moving the center forward with positive changes in the building and staff along with the expansion of services and rebuilding of community ties. Both Barden and Sheedy plan to continue on the board with specific committee assignments.
Staff members, Executive Director Sarah Hendrix and Case Manger Sara Hill maintain the day-to–day operations of the center located on Garro Street in Plymouth.
