10/14/10 The Plymouth High School spell bowl team scored their first win ever at the Northern Lakes Conference invitational held at Northwood.  They won with a score of 72 points.  From word number one a-b-h-o-r-r-e-d to word number ninety p-h-a-r-m-a-c-o-p-o-e-i-a, the PHS team produced a grade A performance.  Good luck at regionals next Monday! The team is coached by Amy Schmeltz.

The Plymouth High School spell bowl team had three perfect spellers at the competition at Northwood.   They were Pauline Dagaas, Grace Stokes, and Nate Mahan.

Two Plymouth High School students spelled 8 out of the 9 difficult words correct during the competition.  The near perfect spellers were Zach Mahan and Elizabeth Oviedo.
