12/27/10 The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety and Common Council will meet Monday evening for their last meeting of the year.  The meetings begin at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall.

The Common Council will consider Ordinance 2010-2015, an ordinance prohibiting dogs in the Oakhill Cemetery.  The ordinance prohibits any dogs in the cemetery expect for the City’s K-9 or service dogs.  Anyone found to be in violation of the new ordinance could be fined $25 for the first violation and up to $2,500 for the second or subsequence violations.

The second ordinance the Common Council will consider is Ordinance 2010-2016,  an amendment to the Code of Ordinances by adding subjects to the list that requires building permits and by eliminating the premium on the cost of building permits for construction outside the corporate limits of the city.
