Employees from INDOT (Indiana Department of Transportation) are currently finishing up crossover work on US 31 south of Plymouth.

Jim Pinkerton, Communications Specialist for the LaPorte District of INDOT confirmed this week that repairs will begin on the railroad crossing on US 31. 

INDOT crews have been building lane crossover at 13th and 14th roads to allow traffic to be moved from the north to south and south o north bound lanes as the railroad works on the rough tracks. 

Repairs are set to begin in early to mid September according to Pinkerton.
