Greg Renz of Plymouth scored a hole in one on hole number 3 at the Plymouth Country Club August 28 in the “Payne Stewart Memorial Par 3 Tournament”. The tournament supplies a scholarship annually to a graduating Marshall County high school golfer each year. Renz recorded the second ace of his career with a 6 iron on the 160 yard hole. The shot was witnessed by Mercy Renz, Brad and Teresa Bucher, Jim and Donna Galt, and Mike and Ann Galt. For his efforts, Renz won two round trip airline tickets to anywhere in the continental United States, courtesy of Oliver Ford Lincoln Mercury.
