10/15/10 Plymouth Police Chief Jim Cox released his September Activity Report during this week’s Board of Public Works and Safety Meeting.

His department handled 862 calls for information and 328 complaints.  Officers conducted 240 traffic stops, responded to 182 9-1-1 calls, conducted 124 investigations and were dispatched to 37 alarms.  City officers investigated 37 property damage traffic accidents , made 31 traffic arrests and security checks, and arrested 30 for criminal charges.

Plymouth Police officers investigated 27 suspicious persons, conducted 25 vehicle checks, wrote 25 traffic warnings, made 20 escorts, responded to 19 juvenile complaints, investigated 19 thefts and checked 13 suspicious vehicles.

The police department conducted 11 welfare checks, served 10 warrants, used the City’s K-9 Rex 10 times, located 7 open doors or windows, responded to 3 domestic fights and investigated 1 personal injury accident.

Parking enforcement issued 67 – $2 parking tickets and 2 – $10 parking tickets.
