10/11/10 Marshall County Sheriff Jon Vanvactor recently released the September activity report for his department. 

County police officers responded to at total of 61 vehicular accidents.  54 crashes were property damage, while 6 involved a personal injury and one accident was a fatality.

Officers wrote a total of 111 case reports last month.  They included 9 battery, 11 burglaries, 3 domestic battery, 2 driving while suspended and 4 sex offenders who failed to register.  Other case reports included 2 fraud cases, 3 for harassment, 4 illegal drug or meth labs, 2 invasion of privacy, 3 individuals who left the scene of an accident, 2 operators never licensed, 3 resisting law enforcement, 22 thefts, and 19 other cases. 

County officers also served a total of 739 civil paper during September.
