11/30/10 Members, friends and volunteers of Plymouth FOP Lodge 195 have been working extremely hard preparing for the 4th Annual Shop With A Cop Radio Auction on WTCA this Friday.

Last year the auction raised over $10,000 and this year the goal is to raise $12,000.   There are many more items to bid on.  In fact, at this point we have 221 items on the list with more coming in daily.

As a way to help the auction run a bit more smoothly we are allowing bidders to register ahead of time.  Anyone interested in bidding can call the WTCA Radio Station (936-4096) and get a bid number, then the day of the auction they will only have to give their bid number and the amount they want to bid on a particular item.  You can also send us an email at wtca@am1050.com and we will send you your bid number.

We have items from pizzas to pop, and blankets to get-a-ways. You’ll find a refurbished copier from Adams Remco valued at $4,200 plus a 32 inch flat screen TV.  We have scuba lessons and guitar lessons, jewelry, gift certificates for food and hair services along with tools, alcohol signs, and autographed collectables.

The 4th Annual Shop With A Cop Radio Auction on WTCA – AM 1050 begins this Friday at 9 a.m. and will last till 4 or 4:30 or longer if we get more items.

Funds raised during the auction will help take needy children from Marshall County on a shopping trip in mid December.  Please consider joining in on the fun.  It will put a smile on your face and the face of a child this Christmas.
