The Plymouth Rockie freshman football team was defeated Thursday night by Goshen, 22-13.  Scoring for the young Rockies was Michael Hartman and Jacob Pearson.  Plymouth finishes the season with a 5-3 record.

The Lady Pilgrims VOLLEYBALL squad had a HUGE come-from-behind win against Concord on Tuesday. They trailed 0-2 early, then won the next 3 games to pull off the upset. Haley Smart had 16 kills for Plymouth. Megan Barron-35 assists.

Thursday, the Girls swept Triton in 3 games. Again Smart led in kills with 13 and 2 Aces, while sophmore Andria Shook had 6 blocks. The Lady Pilgrims will head into the sectionals with a 17-15 record & face a tough Rochester team in the Sectional opener.  #6 Mishawaka Marian is the post-season favorite by many out of the Plymouth sectional. We will see!

The Lady Rockies Soccer team started the Sectionals with a dog fight game against Culver. Plymouth missed a penalty kick less than 3 minutes in and it nearly came back to haunt the Rockies. Plymouth goals in that game came from Kendra Reininga & Krista VanLue, but the Game winner came off the foot of Emily Wilson. They faced Argos on Thursday. Argos scored first and led at halftime. But Trisha Niedlinger scored two goals in the second half for Plymouth to win it. Plymouth plays CGA Saturday night around 7:30pm for the Sectional Championship.

The Plymouth Boys & Girls CROSS-COUNTRY teams will be running in the Regionals this Saturday.
