“This special day of celebration and fundraising includes family-friendly entertainment, a large children’s playground, random prize drawings, complimentary snacks and water along the route and finish line fun complete with free popcorn,” expressed walk coordinator, Debra Mayfield.

Mayfield, Development Assistant for The Hospice Foundation, has been instrumental in coordinating the annual Walk since 2004. “It’s all about our volunteers working together to make this happen,” she noted. “It’s wonderful to see so many community partners turn out for such a great cause.”
