For those who missed Friday’s Opinion show: click on Podcasts, and you can hear from Jude as to what actually took place over the years. Or look at the ad in Saturday’s or today’s Pilot New for an acurate account, no spin or innuendo’s It is all too apparent that those who bring nothing in the way of a real platform to the table, try to tear down their opponnet.

Also in yesterday’s So.Bend Trib this quote “Nash said he had not completed his investigation but learned the investigation was over after a local news account reported a special prosecutor had issued a ruling.” Apparently the Special Prosecutor reviewed evidence presented, and decided the claims had no merit”

To intentionally attempt to smear someone’s reputation, for no apparent reason, other than to embelish himself, makes a sad statement.

Kosciusko County Prosecutor R. Steven Hearn is a Republican, who, in his last election, won without any contest from the Democratic party. One also needs to keep in mind that Mr. Oliver is a dedicated member of the Republican Party…….

I know nothing of the Prosecutor; I highly admire and respect Mr. Oliver, but having two Republicans “stand up for” and rule in favor of a fellow Republican makes this more difficult.

I do not know, have never met, and have no connection with and cannot even vote for Ryan Ripley……and the spelling of his name needs to be corrected in the “news” article above.

I am in total agreement with Mr. Oliver. Quite honestly, I do not know either of the two candidates. But my decision to vote for Ms. Stone will be a result of the nasty way Mr. Ripley has conducted his campaign against her.

Judith Stone has been voting in favor of projects that her husband profits from. His company owns 38 acres of property along Pioneer Drive and she continues to vote in favor of budgets, appropriation, and transfers for that 5.5 million dollar tax payer funded project.

This is clearly unethical. The voting public has a right to know this information and how their dollars are being spent. She has broken the public trust by not being upfront with this information.

Campaigns should be a contest of ideas not attacks on integrity to grab headlines.
The contrast of how Ms. Stone worked to gain public trust and respect before seeking public office and that of her current opponent is both stark and convincing.
