The tennis courts in Centennial Park will soon forever be known as “The Mary Beth Hunter Tennis Complex”. This Saturday, September 4th at 10:00 a.m. during the Blueberry Festival, a short dedication ceremony will take place at the tennis courts. The Plymouth Park Board was approached by a number of former players and friends of Mary Beth Hunter with the idea to name the courts after her. The Park Board was fully behind naming the courts after Mary Beth Hunter, who also is a former Park Board Member. We are asking that any former or current tennis players and friends come to the tennis courts Saturday morning to honor the Hall of Fame coach and watch the unveiling of the new sign. Park Board President Jim Causey, along with others, will speak about what Mary Beth Hunter has done for the tennis program in Plymouth. We hope to see you there! This Saturday at 10:00 a.m., BE THERE!
