Still Time to Donate Coats for Warm Up Marshall County

November 10, 2010
By

11/11/10  Warm-Up Marshall County is a program that was created by Oliver Ford Lincoln Mercury 12 year ago as a way to proved a place for those less fortunate to be able to get a warm coat for the harsh winter days ahead.

This coat drive has been very successful over the years with the assistance of the great citizens of Marshall County according to Steve Keiser.  On Wednesday afternoon Steve estimated that about 450 coats had been collected.  The drive continued through this Saturday, November 13th.

Folks can drop off their gently used coats now through Saturday, at Price’s Village Valet Cleaners on North Michigan Street, Oliver Ford Lincoln Mercury on East Jefferson Street, or here at the WTCA studio on West Washington Street.

All coats will be freshly cleaned by Prices Cleaners and Kabelin Hardware will also be donating gloves for the coats.

If you or anyone in your family is in need of a coat for this winter, please stop by and pick up a free coat and gloves a the Plymouth National Guard Armory on Saturday, November 20th from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. and Sunday,  November 21 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
