01/25/11 While the weather remains cold outside the residents of Miller’s Senior Living Community heated things up inside last week with a Hawaiian Luau Buffet. The Marketing and Activity department decorated using a beach theme and the dietary department provided a lovely Hawaiian buffet including Oahu Coconut Shrimp and Big Island Sweet and Sour Pork plus several other delicacies.
Sounds of the islands were provided by Kent Arnsbarger on the steel drum. Arnsbarger, former PHS percussion instructor now resides in Valparaiso with his family. He entertains across the U.S. with his hand-crafted steel drum.
