04-15-11 On Thursday, April 14th at 11:35 PM Officer Paul Stamper with the Plymouth Police Department responded to 434 Nursery Street in reference to a subject trespassing. Upon arriving Officer Stamper arrested 32 year old Brian A. Dixon of Nursery Street for a charge of trespassing. He was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in on a $1,500 bond.
Later Thursday night at 7:34 PM Officer Jason Dobbins responded to the Prairie View Group Home in reference to a complaint of a committed subject who was later identified as 18 year old Shayne W. Hammer who had escaped. Officer Paul Stamper assisted in locating Mr. Hammer on south Michigan Street. Upon on making contact with Mr. Hammer the subject resisted during apprehension which led to Officer Dobbins having to taser him to gain control. He was arrested on escape and resisting law enforcement charges and was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in on a $750.
