Plymouth Police Make Arrests

04/06/11 On Saturday April 2nd, at approximately 5:45 a.m. the Plymouth Police Department received a call of a suspicious person in the 800 block of Thayer Street.  Officer Joe Deisch located the suspect, 30 year old Jose F. Garcia of Plymouth.  Garcia was arrested for Public Intoxication and lodged at the Marshall County Jail.  A $500.00 cash bond was received at 11:50 a.m. on Saturday and he was released. Garcia is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court 2 on April 19th.

On Saturday, April 2nd at approximately 8:00 p.m. Officer Derek Workman made a routine traffic stop at the intersection on State Road 17 and Lake Avenue.  It was found that Elizabeth C. Boyd 22, of Knox had a valid warrant out of Starke County. She was taken to the Marshall County Jail.

On Sunday April 3rd Officer Jordan Rans responded to the 1900 Block of Jim Neu Drive in reference to a 9-1-1 call from a female stating that her husband was choking her. Officer Rans arrested Juan C. Luva 27, of Plymouth and transported him to the Marshall County Jail where he was charged with Domestic Battery.   The $750.00 cash bond was paid on April 4th at 3:15 a.m. Luva is scheduled to appear in the Marshall County Superior Court 2 on April 26th.

On Sunday, April 3rd at approximately 8:30 p.m. Officer Workman responded to 2401 North Michigan Street reference to a battery. When he arrived it was found that Martin Sarabia-Garcia 26, of Plymouth had caused a battery on his six year old neighbor. Garcia was arrested at taken to the Marshall County Jail where he was charged with Battery Resulting In Serious Bodily Injury. Garcia also had an active warrant out of Marshall County for a Probation Violation. Garcia’s bond is set at $2000.00 cash.  He is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court 2 on May 31st.
