06/02/11 Marshall County Police are investigating a break in at the Burger King in LaPaz.
On Sunday May 29th around 11:30 P.M. the Burger King Restaurant in LaPaz closed for the night. On Monday May 30th around 4:30 A.M. when the morning manger came in to open the restaurant she noticed that sometime during the overnight someone had broken into the restaurant. The manager immediately went back to her vehicle and called the Marshall County Police Department.
In the preliminary investigation it appears that the subject entered the restaurant through the first drive through window. Once the subject entered the building the office door was kicked in and broke into the front cash registers. The subject left with an unknown amount of money.
