07/14/11 The Plymouth Park Department and Miller’s Senior Living Community are proud to announce the winners of the 2011 Senior Classic Games. This is the second year for the games and Gina Young (Parks Dept.) and Anna Corbett (Miller’s) are pleased with the turnout and participation this year.
Those receiving medals are as follows:
Horseshoes: Gold, Ron Gantz; Silver, Bob Gross; Bronze, Tom Miller
Men’s Bowling: Gold, Justin Haynes; Silver, Tom Christiansen; Bronze, Gene Brown
Women’s Bowling: Gold, Penny Kennedy; Silver, Carolyn Brown; Bronze, Joyce West
Men’s Golf: Gold, Ron Gantz; Silver, George Kariger; Bronze, Gene Brown
Women’s Golf: Gold, Jeanette Walters; Silver, Diane Kuskye; Bronze, Judy Hess
Basketball: Gold Ron Gantz; Silver, Bob Gross
Cornhole: Gold, Ron Gantz; Silver, Tom Miller; Bronze, Bob Gross
Tennis Doubles: TBA/Thursday, July 14 @ 6:00 p.m.
Young and Corbett agree the Senior Classic Games are a great addition to the summer activities at Plymouth Centennial Park and they ask that participants and spectators help spread the word about the 2012 games. They would also like to thank all sponsors who helped support the Senior Classic Game including People’s Drug Store, LaFree Physical Therapy, Tri-Way Golf Club, Quick’s Lanes, Young’s TV and Appliances, DelMonte, Stockberger Trucking, 1050 AM the Chief, Yoder’s Sports Center, Weidner and Company, Lear Corporation, the Plymouth Parks Department and Miller’s Senior Living Community.
