Plymouth Police Make Weekend Arrests

08/09/ 11 On Friday, August 5th at approximately 9:00 p.m. Officer Jordan Rans of the Plymouth Police Department made a routine traffic stop at the intersection of Baker Street and Michigan Street.  It was found that driver; 62 year old Thomas P. Atkins of Plymouth was operating a Vehicle While intoxicated.  Mr. Atkins was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was given a $1000.00 cash bond, which was paid on August 6th at 10:00 a.m.  Atkins has a scheduled court appearance on August 16th in Marshall County Superior Court #2.

On Saturday, August 6th at 9:06 p.m. Corporal Bridget Hite of the Plymouth P. D. responded to Wal-Mart in reference to a female shoplifter who was identified as Kala M. Elder 25, of Knox.  Upon arrival Officer Hite took Elder into custody and transported her to the County Jail, where she was booked in for theft, a Class D Felony.  Elder’s bond was set at $1000.00 cash and she has a scheduled court appearance in Marshall County Superior Court #1 on September 13th.

In the early hours of Sunday, August 7th around 12:49 a.m. Sergeant Joe Deisch conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of State Road 17 and Overmyer Drive.   It was found that the driver, Jessica M. Stapleton 29, of Plymouth was driving while intoxicated.  She was transported to the Jail and given a $1000.00 cash bond. Stapleton has a scheduled court appearance in Marshall County Superior Court #2 will be on August 23rd.
