Municipal Election Results for Argos & Culver

11/09/11 Voters in Argos and Culver also went to the polls on Tuesday.

In Argos there were four candidates to fill three seats on the Town Council.  The top three vote getters were Republican Casie Rowe with 131 votes, Republican Mark VanDerWeele with 118 votes and Democrat David Walker with 114 votes.  Republican Thomas Nolin received 106 votes.

In the Town of Culver there was a race for the Clerk’s seat and for the Town Council.  Republican Challenger Karen Heim will serve as the new Town Clerk beginning the first of the year.  Karen received 201 votes or 53.74% of the vote while incumbent Casey Howard received 173 votes or 46.26% of the votes. 

The Culver Town Council will see a change.  There were four candidates to fill three seats.  The top three vote getters were Democrat Ed Pinder Sr. with 283 votes, Republican Ginney Bess Munroe with 279 votes and Republican Bill Githens with 214 votes.  Incumbent Ralph Winters, a Democrat received 204 votes.
