Structure Fire at 407 Miner Street

November 23, 2011

11/23/11 The Plymouth Fire Department responded to 407 Miner Street on the south side of Plymouth Tuesday evening just before 7 for a structure fire.   No one was injured in the fire.

When firemen arrived on the scene some smoke was coming from the attic area of the home.   Plymouth Fire Chief Andy Metzger stated the cause of the fire was accidental in nature due to a overheated light fixture that initially started an upstairs power outage.   Firefighters were on the scene for just over an hour.

The homes smoke detectors did work.
