12/29/11 The Marshall County Commissioners and Council will conduct end of the year meetings on Friday, December 30th in the second floor meeting room of the County Building.
The Commissioners will meet at 8:30 a.m. Their agenda includes the Auditor’s Report by Penny Lukenbill. She will present the December 19th meeting minutes for approval and the end-of-year claims. Also on their agenda is the Otis Elevator contract for major improvements to the two elevators in the County building. Their proposal was for $145,000 to upgrade the electronics and inner-workings of the elevators.
The County Council is scheduled to meet at 9 a.m. Their agenda includes an additional request by Marshall County Coroner Bill Cleavenger for autopsies and toxicology. They have several requests for transfers to balance out the various line items.
Also on the Council’s agenda is the approval of the December 12 minutes and the appointment of Maria Keller to the Alcoholic Beverage Commission.
Both of these meetings are open to the public.
