06/30/11 This Saturday the Plymouth Farmers’ Market will be celebrating the 4th of July with patriotic tunes by Jim Vinall. Mayor Senter will be handing out American flags (made in the USA). Art Heminger of Balloon Art will be fashioning balloon creations for young and old alike.

Earthworks will be staging their own ‘Revolution’ pitting English cheddar cheeses against American-made. Tasters may vote for the cheese of their choice. Be sure to stop by and cast your ballot.

The Plymouth Farmers’ Market is held Saturdays from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the newly-named River Park Square at Garro and River, east of Michigan. Each weekend features entertainment and exhibits. The last day for the Market is Oct. 8, the second Saturday of the month.

Booth space for vendors remains at $10 per week per booth. Not-for-profit booths are free but limited to once a month.
