07/28/11 People’s University will soon begin the 3rd Fall semester, boasting 70 classes that are held throughout the county.  There truly is something for everyone, from flyfishing to watercolors, planning for college to building websites, cooking to weight training, even time management.  Classes are open to all ages, and most are free!  Registration begins August 1, with classes running August 22 – October 29.  Class schedules are available at the Life Enrichment Center or any of our partner locations.  Registrations for classes may be dropped off or mailed to the Life Enrichment Center, 1305 W. Harrison Street, Plymouth. 

People’s University is co-op of education designed to offer Marshall County residents an opportunity to engage in lifelong learning.  The class schedule includes all kinds of subjects, from science and technology to the arts, health and fitness.  Classes are open to anyone interested, and have very nominal fees, if any.  Along with our Partners, Marshall County Council on Aging invites you to challenge yourself this Fall: learn a new skill, revitalize an old one, or simply get out and see what’s happening in your community.  People’s University is brought to you by Ancilla College, Culver-Union Township Library, Earthworks, Encore Performing Arts, Marshall County Council on Aging, Purdue Extension Office, Marshall County Historical Society, Plymouth Chamber of Commerce, Plymouth Parks Department, Plymouth Public Library, and St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.
