The Chargers (8-21, 5-10 MCCAA) generated little offensive support for starting pitcher Josh Copp in Game 1, scoring two runs on just two hits.
Nick Patterson and Fletcher Goodman each knocked in a run in the fifth inning for Ancilla.
Copp lasted 5 1/3 innings, surrendering three runs on two hits.
In Game 2, Macomb (17-17, 12-4 MCCAA) scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to put the game out of reach and sweep the Chargers on the day.
Tyler Jackson took the loss, allowing four runs in five innings of work.Â Two of those runs were unearned.
Matt McGraw hit a solo homerun for Ancilla while Brandon Dale finished 3-for-4 with an RBI.Â Pat Kinney added two hits and an RBI for the Chargers.
The Chargers will resume play on Tuesday when they host MCCAA conference foe Jackson Community College.Â Opening pitch is at 2:00 p.m. EDT.
