05/26/11 Two young local leaders in business and economic development, Andrea Cook, owner of the Midas Center, a full service marketing firm in Plymouth, and Jennifer Laurent, Marshall County Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC) Executive Director, have been named to the esteemed Michiana “Forty Under 40” Class of 2011.
The Michiana “Forty Under 40” program is a collaborative effort involving The Chamber of Commerce of St. Joseph County, the Greater Elkhart Chamber of Commerce, the South Bend Tribune and a number of major employers intended to recognize and honor 40 young professionals within the Michiana region for their contributions and accomplishments in both their workplace and community. The class of 2011 was determined by nominations received and reviewed by the selection committee.
Honorees will be recognized at a luncheon at the Gillespie Conference Center in South Bend on Friday, June 3, 2011.
“Congratulations should be extended to both Andrea and Jennifer for this area-wide recognition of the work that they do in our community,” said Kevin Berger, Chairman of the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors.
