03/25/11 The Maxinkuckee Players requested the use of the Argos High School Auditorium during the Argos School Board meeting last Monday night.  The Players will be performing “Nunsence, The Mega Musical Version” this summer.  Becky Liechty, representing the Players, said “We had a pleasant experience when we were here last.”  Along with the fees for the rental of the Auditorium, the Players will be giving a $500 scholarship to the school.

Joy Hall, Administrative Assistant, will be retiring the end of the school year.  She told the Board, “It has been a privilege to work for the Argos School System.  Argos is a great school.”  Joy started working for the Argos Schools in 1977.  She said she will be enjoying her grandchildren and is looking forward to doing mission work.  “Joy is always going to be a member of our school family.” said Dr. Jennifer Lucht, Argos Superintendent.

The Board approved the employment of Jon Arndt for the girls JV basketball coach for 2011/12, Mackenzie Williams for the Junior High boys baseball coach for 2010/11, and Jacqueline Campbell and the part time activity bus driver.  They also accepted the resignations of Jon Arndt as the 8th grade boys basketball coach and Jennifer Thomas as the Junior High volleyball coach and the 5th and 6th grade cheerleading coach.
