10/04/11 Plymouth Police made numerous arrests last week and this past weekend.

On Wednesday, September 28th at approximately 11:45 a.m. Officer Steve DeLee of the Plymouth P.D. responded to the Kroger parking lot at 2001 North Michigan Street in reference to a four vehicle accident.  Upon arrival Officer DeLee spoke with driver, Claude Howell 56, of Plymouth.   Howell states when he was moving his car while sitting in the passenger seat when he struck three vehicles.  Howell tested positive for alcohol and was taken for a certified breath test.  Howell tested over the legal limit to drive, and was booked into the Marshall County Jail where he was charged with Operating While Intoxicated with a $1000.00 cash bond.   He has a scheduled court appearance in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on October 18th at 8:30am.

On Thursday, September 29th at 5:54 a.m. Officer Jordan Rans performed a routine traffic stop at the intersection of Harrison and Plum Streets.  Within the investigation it was found that driver, Patricia Mata 33, of Plymouth had never held a valid driver license.  Mata was arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail where she was booked in with a $250.00 cash bond.  Mata is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on October 18th at 8:30am.

Then later that evening at 6:53 p.m. Officer  Jesse Pippenger responded to the Plymouth Public Library in reference to three subjects causing a disturbance.  The three subjects were later identified as Michael L. Pittman 31, Nancy Pittman 39, and Timothy Pentecost 20, all of Plymouth.  All three were arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail where they were booked in for battery and disorderly conduct.  All three are being held with $1,000.00 cash bonds.  They are scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on October 25th at 8:30am.

On Friday, September 30th at approximately 1:20 .m. Plymouth Officers located a male subject identified as Robert F. Yeager 41, of Plymouth sleeping in front of Homemade to Go located 122 South Michigan Street.  Upon investigation it was found that Mr. Yeager was in possession of Marijuana and he was intoxicated.  Yeager was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in with a $1,000.00 cash bond.   Yeager is also scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on October 18th at 8:30am.

Later Friday morning on Friday around 5:00 a.m. Plymouth Officer Tim Taberski  initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of Oak Drive, just south of Markley Drive.  Roger A. Risner 47, of Rensselaer was a passenger in the vehicle.  He was found to have an active warrant out of Marshall County and Starke County.  Risner was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in on the warrant for a Probation Violation.  No bond was set.

On Saturday, October 1st at 2:55 a.m. Plymouth Officer Gary Cleveland made a traffic stop at the intersection of Michigan and Jefferson Streets.  It was found that the driver, Jose M. Navarro 24, of Argos, was driving without ever receiving a license.  Navarro was arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in with a $250.00 cash bond.  He has a scheduled court appearance in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on October 18th at 8:30am.

Officer Joe Deisch made a routine traffic stop on Michigan Road, north of 6C Road on Sunday, October 2nd around 1:40 a.m.  He arrested the subjects later identified as Dana E. Richards 43, of Plymouth for possession of Marijuana and Chad L. Richard 29 of LaPaz for possession of Marijuana and Possession of Paraphernalia.  Both subjects were transported to the Marshall County Jail where their bonds were set at $2,000.00 each.  They are scheduled to appearance November 1st in Marshall County Superior Court #2.
