10/19/11 On Wednesday, October 12th at approximately 3:10pm, Officer Shanna Gilmer of the Plymouth Police Department responded to Washington Elementary School on Lake Avenue in reference to a vehicle that left the scene of an accident.  The witness reported that Rebecca Geib 36, of Plymouth was driving the vehicle when the collision happened, she then left the scene.  Police units located Mrs. Geib pulling into her Garage in the 900 block of West Garro Street with a small child in the vehicle with her.  Mrs. Geib smelled of alcohol, and a field sobriety test was administered.  Geib was then transported to the Marshall County Jail where she was book in for Operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior, a Class D felony.  Her bond is set at $1000.00 cash.  A scheduled court appearance will be in Marshall County Superior Court #1 on October 25th at 8:30am. 

On Thursday, October 13th at approximately 11:16 a.m. Plymouth Police Officer Steve DeLee was dispatched to Wal-Mart on North Oak Drive in reference to an adult shoplifter.  Upon investigation, Connie Snyder 42, of Knox was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where she was charged with theft, a Class D Felony.  Once in the jail it was discovered that Snyder had two different kinds of pills in her possession without a prescription.  She was then charged with Possession of a controlled substance, also a Class D Felony.  Snyder is being held on a $1000.00 cash bond.  A scheduled court appearance in Marshall County Superior Court #1 will be held on November 11th at 8:30am. 

 On Friday, October 14th at approximately 2:23 p.m. three vehicles were involved in an accident on US 30 and Pioneer Road. The investigation by the Plymouth Police Department determined that a NIPSCO truck rear ended a Wal-Mart semi, and then another vehicle was sideswiped.  One patient was transported to St. Joseph Hospital in Plymouth with minor injuries. 

Later that evening on Friday, October 14th around 8:35 p.m. Plymouth Officer John Weir initiated a traffic stop on a blue Camaro for having false plates at the intersection of Jefferson and Liberty Streets.  Weir walked K-9 Rex around the vehicle and he indicated the presence of some type of narcotics.  A search was then conducted and a bag of suspected marijuana was located in the car.  The subject later known as Danny Jo Trofimchuck 34, of Plymouth was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail, where he was booked in for Possession of Marijuana.  His bond was set at $2000.00  cash.  Trofimchuck was released on Sunday, October 16th at 9:00 p.m. with no judicial review.  A scheduled court appearance will be on November 15th at 8:30am in Marshall County Superior Court #2. 

On Saturday, October 15th at approximately 2:23am, Sergeant Joe Deisch made a traffic stop at the intersection of Adams Street just east of Third Street.   Cody D. Campbell 20, of Plymouth was arrested for an active warrant out of Marshall County.  He was transported to Marshall County Jail where he was booked in on a Failure to Appear felony warrant.  The warrant held a $500.00 cash bond which was paid on October 15th at 4:30am.   Campbell is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court #1 on October 18th at 8:30am. 

On Saturday, October 15th at 3:47am, Sergeant Deisch initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of Jefferson Street and Center Street.  It was found that the driver Christopher T. Williams 32, of Plymouth was intoxicated.  He was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for Driving while intoxicated.  His bond was set at $1000.00 cash.  Williams was released on October 17th at 4:00am with no judicial review.  A scheduled court appearance in Marshall County Superior Court #2 will be on November 1st at 8:30am.
