10/06/11 On Tuesday, October 4th around 7:40 a.m. Plymouth Police Department was dispatched to the area of Red-D-Mart on the corner of Jefferson and Michigan Streets in reference to two subjects being possibly intoxicated.  When Officer Mark Owen arrived on scene he spoke with 19 year old Dereck Pinkowski and 18 year old Alexis L. Tanner both of Plymouth.  It was found that both Pinkowski and Tanner were intoxicated.  They were transported to the Marshall County Jail where both were booked in for Illegal Consumption of Alcohol and Public Intoxication.  A $500.00 cash bond was placed on each of them.   Tanner and Pinkowski both bonded out on October 4th, Pinkowski at 4:50pm, and Tanner at 8:40pm.  They have scheduled court appearance in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on November 15th

Later Tuesday morning at 10:25 a.m. the Marshall County Dispatch Center received a call in reference to James W. Bailey 22, of Walkerton who battered  his father and was walking down Bayless Street.  Upon further investigation by Plymouth Police Officer Chris Miller at the victim’s residence in the 300 block of Lemler Street, Bailey was placed under arrest, and was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for Battery resulting in Bodily Injury and Interference with Reporting of a Crime.  A $1500.00 cash bond was placed on Bailey.  He is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on October 25th

Later Tuesday evening at 7:11 p.m. Officer Jesse Pippenger made a routine traffic stop at the intersection of Michigan and Harrison Streets.  It was found that Kyle Stiles 27, of Plymouth was intoxicated.  He was transported to the Saint Joseph Medical Center in Plymouth where testing proved his intoxication.  Stiles was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated and Operating a Vehicle with a Scheduled I or II Controlled Substance.  A cash bond of $2,000.00 is set for Mr. Stiles’ release.  A scheduled court appearance in Marshall County Superior Court #2 will be held on October 11th at 8:30am.
