06/02/11  After shopping at the Plymouth Farmers’ Market this Saturday, shoppers are encouraged to take a step back in time and cross LaPorte Street to enjoy the sights and sounds of the 5th Annual Yellow River Festival. The new name for the park will be announced during opening ceremonies.

The usual First Saturday activities at the Plymouth Farmers’ Market will be limited to Art Heminger of Balloon Art fashioning balloon creations for young and old alike.

The Market is held Saturdays from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the G & G parking lot at Garro and River, east of Michigan. The last day for the Market is Oct. 8, the second Saturday of the month.

Applications for vendors and not-for-profits are available on the website at www.plymouthfarmersmarket.com or by contacting Tom Keb, Market Manager, 10499 Tyler Road, Bremen, IN 46506 (574-217-5776). Booth space for vendors remains at $10 per week per booth. Not-for-profit booths are free but limited to once a month.
