10/04/11 On Sunday, October 2nd just after 9:00 p.m.  Officer John Weir with the Plymouth Police Department was patrolling the area of Nursery and Thayer Streets when he noticed a scent of ammonia.  After searching the area, Officer Weir located Brandon A. Birchmeier 30, of Plymouth hiding behind a bush.

When Officer Weir approached him a foot pursuit ensued.  Birchmeier was apprehended a couple of minutes later and at that time had an active meth lab on his person.

After a search of the residence at 754 Thayer Street officers recovered a sawed off shot gun.

Birchmeier was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for Dealing and manufacturing methamphetamines and resisting law enforcement.  There is no bond set at this time for Mr. Birchmeier.

Brandon you are in my prayers i really hope someone helps you get the help that you need. thats what this town lacks we really need a meth rehab here or they need to be able to get the tools they need whille they are in jail to at least get them started on the right path just locking them up and letting them out isnt all they need this is something they have to work at the rest of their lives.
