07/13/11 The Marshall County Church Orchestra and The Plymouth Youth Orchestra performed Sunday evening at the Culver Town Park.  The gentle breeze coming across the lake made it a pleasant evening to be outside enjoying beautiful music.

The MCCO under the direction of Don Harness presented a variety of music including traditional hymns, Broadway tunes, classical, and patriotic music.  Gabriele Hill led the PYO as they played several classical and movies tunes.  The two orchestra joined forces to play “Surprise Symphony” written by Franz Joseph Haydn in 1791.

The MCCO continues its July schedule with an appearance at the Marshall County 4-H Fair on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.  On Saturday, July 16 the MCCO will benefit from a carport sale held at Miller’s Senior Living Community from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.  They will also play at the historic Jacoby Church on King Road on Sunday, July 24 at 2:00 p.m.  For further MCCO information call Don Harness at 936-7357 or Cindy Flagg at 952-3661.
