12/14/11 Members of the Plymouth Common Council unanimously approved on second and third reading the ordinance fixing salaries for elected officials for 2012. The ordinance includes a 3% raise for next year.
In 2012 the Mayor of Plymouth will make $53,151.12 while the Clerk-Treasurer will make $55,219.68. Each of the five City Council members will make $7,850.88. The salaries are paid by three funds; the Waterworks, Wastewater, and General Fund.
Mayor Senter commented that no raises were given in 2010 or 2011 so the 3% increase equals out to only 1% each year.
