01/27/11 Plymouth Police Officers served a warrant on 24 year old Shawn E. Brown Monday afternoon about 4 p.m. at the intersection of Michigan and Washington Streets.
Shawn Brown was observed operating a vehicle by Officer Gary Cleveland. He was known to have an outstanding warrant out of Marshall County Superior Court #1 for failure to appear on a felony possession of a controlled substance charge. Mr. Brown was arrested in the parking lot of People’s Drug store without incident and transported to the Marshall County Jail. He was held on a $1,000 cash bond.
Tuesday afternoon about 3:30 Officer Trent Shively responded to Wal-Mart in reference to the report of a theft of a radar detector from a vehicle parked in the parking lot.
The sheriff’s department obtained information on the suspect and Officer Les McFarland located the suspect vehicle, a Lincoln Town Car in the area of US 6 and US 31.
After an investigation, 38 year old Johnnie Mac Sheppard of Argos was taken into custody on the theft charge and an outstanding warrant. He was transported to the County Jail and booked in on the outstanding warrant and a new charge of theft.
