12/14/11  On Monday, December 12th at approximately 7:45 p.m. Patrolman  Kerry Brouyette of the Marshall County Police Department was patrolling US 30 when he observed a four door passenger car commit a traffic violation. 

Patrolman Brouyette then initiated the traffic stop at US 30 just west of King Road.  During the traffic stop Patrolman Brouyette learned that the driver, Patrick Fleming 23, of South Bend was operating the vehicle on a suspended license.   The officer then requested the Plymouth Police Department K-9 unit at the location.  Officer John Weir and K-9 Rex arrived on the scene and when walked around the vehicle Rex indicated the presence of narcotics.   Officer Weir and Patrolman Brouyette located synthetic Marijuana, known as K2 inside the vehicle. 

The case has been turned over to the Marshall County Prosecutors Office.
