04/18/11 The Marshall County Commissioners will meet Monday morning at 9:30 a.m. in their second floor meeting room of the County Building. The agenda includes the quarterly update by the County’s Health Insurance provider, The Healey Group and the quarterly update by the new building commissioner, Chuck DeWitt.
The Commissioners will hold a public hearing to vacate plat and three alleys at 10 a.m. followed by the monthly report of EMA Director Clyde Avery.
County Highway Superintendent Neal Haeck will discuss the activities of his department and Jeff Million from DLZ will update the commissioner on the 13th Road bridge replacement.
City Engineer Rick Gaul will ask the commissioners to appoint a person to the common construction wage committee for the city’s street and sidewalk project while Marlene Mahler, County Recorder will discuss a software update for her office.
Also on the agenda is an update from Jennifer Laurent, Executive Director of the Marshall County Economic Development Commission along with the County Attorney report, Auditor’s report and setting the date for the Commissioner’s Certificate Sale.
The Commissioner meeting is open to the public for comments and questions.
