06-06-11 The Marshall County Commissioners will meet Monday morning beginning at 8:30 a.m. in their second floor meeting room in the County Building.  There are a number of items on the agenda.

Mike Lintner from Marshall Starke Development Center will update to commissioner on the Center and the assistance they receive from the county with the purchase of fuel and Emergency Management Director Clyde Avery will present his monthly report.  Rich Ulrich head of the County’s Building and Grounds will present a personnel request and I.T. Director Michael Marshall will discuss a new phone system for the County Building.

Other items on the Commissioner’s agenda include Sheriff Tom Chamber who will discuss Lake Enforcement for Lake Maxinkuckee while Ron Wireman from DLZ will update the Commissioner on the Pioneer Drive and Road Improvement Project.  County Highway Superintendent Neal Haeck will report on activities of his department and County Attorney Jim Clevenger and Auditor Penny Lukenbill will give their reports.

Under Commissioner Items is amendments to the Personnel Police including the firearms policy and hiring police.  The commissioners will also hear about the Gypsy Moth Treatment letters.

The Marshall County Commissioner’s meeting is open to the public and question and comments from the public are welcomed.
