01/18/11 Due to the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday on Monday the Marshall County Drainage Board and Commissioner’s meeting has been moved to Tuesday, January 18th.  The Drainage Board meeting is scheduled for 8:30 in the second floor meeting room of the County Building.  The agenda includes: reorganization of the board with the election of officers, maintenance bid for the Stock Heston and Kline Arm in German Township, establishment of preliminary periodic maintenance on the Mentzel Ditch, approval of minutes, and signing of ditch maintenance contracts of the Danner and Armey Ditch.

The Marshall County Commissioners meeting is scheduled for 9:30. First on the agenda is the year-end report of County Building Inspector Dennis Elliott.  Tony Medeiros from Liberty National will discuss employee benefits while Brent Martin will present the closeout documents for the Crossroads Museum project.

Other items on Tuesday’s agenda include the Highway Report by Neal Haeck.  Jeff Million from DLZ will also update the Commissioners on Bridge 89, the bridge replacement project over the Yellow River on 13th Road.  County Attorney Jim Clevenger will present his report and County Auditor Penny Lukenbill will present the January 3 meeting minutes for approval and the January mid-month claims.

Both meetings are open to the public for comments and questions.
