04/27/11 On Tuesday, April 19th at 8:04 PM Patrolman Travis O’Neal with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department responded to the area of 6080 Rose Road after receiving a report that someone was dumping controlled substance waste.  Upon arriving at the location officers located the remnants of a small mobile meth lab.  Witness’s reported seeing an older blue Ford Taurus with Tapout stickers on it leaving the area when the items were dumped. 

On Wednesday, April 20th just before 5 p.m. Patrolman Matthew Brown responded to 3335 Sage Road in reference to a theft.  Upon arriving Patrolman Brown made contact with the home owner who advised an unknown subject drove onto the property and removed a red Troy Built Pony riding lawn mower with a 42” cutting deck. 

On Monday, April 25th at 12:34 PM Patrolman Jeff Snyder responded to the 12,000 block of US 6 after receiving a complaint of an attempted theft.  Someone had attempted to remove items from a semi trailer which was parked at the Speedway gas station on the corner of US 6 and US 31 between.  The attempted theft happened sometime between Saturday, April 23rd and Monday, April 25th. The owner of the semi trailer told Officer Snyder that subjects had cut a pad lock on the rear door of the trailer in order to gain entry.  The suspects were unaware that the trailer was empty.
